2010 A2 Cabernet Sauvignon

Carefully selected, blended, and barrel aged for 20 months this vibrant, full-bodied, Horse Heaven Hills Cabernet Sauvignon is loaded with dark fruit, ripe berry flavors, black currant and hints of rosemary and vanilla. There’s excellent depth in the mid-palate and polished tannins that tighten up in the mineral-tinged finish. This has a smooth mouthfeel that stands gracefully on its own and the structure to beautifully complement food.  Nearing maturity, the vivid flavors of the finish still suggest a terrific future, so even though it is drinking well now it will benefit from another year or two in the cellar. Pairs well with Marbled Meats, lamb, beef roast and duck.

This dark and voluptuous Bordeaux blend is deep purple in color highlighted by bold concentrated aromas of blackberry, rose petal, cassis, eucalyptus and crushed herbs.  
 

2010 Ice Viognier

These Viognier grapes were left on the vine to hand pick weeks past the normal harvest time causing severe shrivel and dehydration, increasing concentrated flavors and aromas when temperatures fell to 17 F. and finally picked in the pre-dawn hours of November 24th 2010 at 40 brix residual sugar.

2010 Merlot

This Merlot is powered by its bold fruit flavors yet perfectly balanced with firm refined tannins and exceptional length, this is a lovely and age-worthy wine that shows how much Merlot can excel in a cooler growing season. The tantalizing aromas are rich and inviting with layers of dark chocolate, ripe berries, leather with hints of tobacco and floral notes. On the palate, lush flavors of black cherry, oak-inspired spice and black berry dominate, with the tannins adding structure and depth.   If consuming before 2014, please decant or let it breathe and pair it with Kobe beef, and other marbled meats.

2011 Block 17 Syrah

Our Block 17 Syrah is distinguished by its deep and dark inky color followed by the rich bouquet of fruit aromas, hints of plum, ripe black cherry and toasty vanilla spices, with layers of cassis, cedar, and cocoa flavors. This Syrah finishes long and toasty with soft, velvety tannins. To complete this delicate wine, the rich fruit was co-fermented with Viognier adding nuances of smoky toffee.

2011 Carmenere

Our 1st bottling of Carménère is dark violet in color with ripe aromas of blackberries, warm spice, pepper, and then, more pepper. Full-bodied and fruit-forward with intense flavors of black cherry, tobacco, plum and a hint of smoke. The smooth tannins and good structure balance perfectly with the bright flavors and the powerful finish full of crushed herbs, vanilla and cedar.

2011 Grenache

Our 2011 Grenache provides great aromatic complexity with dark, ripe fruit and a burst of spice to go along with a rich, compelling mouthfeel, and well balanced acidity.  The palate is packed with wild raspberry, strawberry and black cherry notes along with hints of cranberry, licorice, cassis, and black pepper.  This wonderful Rhone varietal and the excellent Horse Heaven Hills growing conditions combine to produce a wonderful medium bodied wine that dances in your mouth and lingers on your tongue.  

2011 Malbec

Deep purple and magenta in color, this Malbec opens with the pure varietal aromas of raspberry, cassis, dried herbs and sandalwood. It’s bright and tangy and balanced throughout, with a plush mouthfeel and traces of eucalyptus, blackberry and cedar threaded through the dusty yet polished tannins.

This Rhone blend is Chateauneuf-du-Pape in style, with lush, bright red fruits and pleasing traces of teh estate vineyard's characteristic dusty tannins.  Exhibiting a deep crimson color with a stunning violet rim, this wine produces a spicy nose of black cherry, rhubarb, mocha, cedar and lavendar.

2011 Quarry Butte

An elegantly expressive six varietal blend that packs a punch for the value, capturing that unique terroir, of Destiny Ridge Vineyard. It’s loaded with aromatics of black cherry, vanilla, peppercorn, dried herbs and leather. The palate is ripe with blackberry, cherry, rich supple tannins, hints of cedar and elegant oak-spice that lead to a balanced structure and lengthy finish.


2012 Chardonnay

Our 2012 Estate Grown Chardonnay boasts an attractive light golden-straw color and bright aromas of Bosc pear, golden apple, and citrus notes, which are complemented by hints of vanilla and nutmeg from the oak aging process and subtle yeast tones from lees contact.  Lush, concentrated and creamy on the palate, its fresh apple, stone fruit and ripe melon flavors intertwine on the mid-palate, while a splash of lemon zest livens up the beautifully structured finish. While our 2012 Chardonnay is delicious now, its food-friendly acidity will lend its hand to many dishes or serve well chilled for a wonderfully refreshing wine.

2012 Jet Black Syrah

Whole berry fermentation leads the way for this deep and dense black in color Syrah.  There’s an energy driving the wine, immediately apparent in the sultry aromas of blackberries, huckleberry, mocha, lavender, and espresso. The flavors are thick and saturated, coating the mouth with dark cherry, toffee, cedar and a delicate leathery spice.  A very generous mid-palate with loads of texture yet it manages to stay fresh and elegant, with juicy acidity, very fine, silky and sleek tannins, and a brilliant finish that certainly doesn’t lack for length.

2012 Late Harvest Muscat

Harvested at approximately 32 Brix from our own Destiny Ridge Vineyard, our 2012 Muscat was gently whole cluster pressed. The juice was then carefully transferred to a stainless steel tank, where it underwent a long, cold fermentation until it reached the desired Brix level, at which time fermentation was stopped.  Very aromatic and floral, our 2nd vintage of Muscat presents itself with inviting aromas of mango, pineapple, apricot, and notes of honey.  It’s sweet and tropical flavors are balanced by its bright acidity, creating a light, refreshing and elegant white wine.  The Muscat's crisp style also makes this ideal for Asian dishes, or a delicious accompaniment to grilled peaches drizzled with honey and topped with cream cheese.

2012 Riesling

Light Straw in color, this off-dry Riesling expresses luscious aromas of dried apricot, honeysuckle and baked apple.  Delightfully fresh, the palate shows bright and crisp flavors of peach, tropical fruit and freshly squeezed lime juice.  With its balanced acidity and a touch of sweetness, Alexandria Nicole’s estate White Riesling is mouthwatering and precise.  Serve chilled for casual sipping or pairs perfectly with glazed ham, spicy Thai dishes and pate de foie-gras.

2012 Shepherd's Mark

This unique and flavorful white wine boasts floral notes of lavender, layered with pineapple, bosc pear, lemon zest, all leading into a delicious mix of citrus and white peach, and a viscous yet crisp mouth-feel that lingers to a refreshing finish.

2013 A2 Rose

This very pretty, salmon color Rose boasts a bright bouquet of watermelon, strawberry, and raspberry. The palate starts out broad and fruit filled with cherry, rhubarb and hints of spice which lead to a crisp, yet lingering finish. The combination of juicy acidity, yet creamy mouthfeel make this an extremely enjoyable wine at an excellent price.

2013 Albarino

Only the very best fruit was carefully selected and hand harvested for our 2nd vintage of Albarino.  These plump, round berries display lush tropical aromas of peach, honeydew melon, kiwi and lemongrass. Such luscious floral notes are accentuated with a silky texture that is juicy and lively on the palate, and finishes with a hint of refreshing sweetness. 

2013 Roussanne

This warm 2013 vintage provides exceptional aromatics, starting with lime and then revealing notes of honkeysuckle, passionfruit and peach-before deepening into more classic honey and apricot scents with air.  Juicy, pure and concentrated, with lovely intentsity, the flavors are delicate yet rich, with a clean line of minerality to focus the wine all the way through the vibrant finish. 

2013 Viognier

Handpicked and whole cluster pressed, this golden gem is loaded with complex aromas of lemon-lime, lavender, citrus blossom, and candied peach give way to floral earthy undertones and stunning structure. Beautifully balanced it lingers with the richness of apricot and orange blossom, with a lively mouth feel of crisp granny smith apple and a touch of pear on the finish. A clean and refreshing wine that pairs well with food or a summertime patio.
